UFOs

In my opinion, UFOs do exist. I have not seen one, but it is a fact that there are persons who have seen a UFO. To tell the truth, my mother is one of those too. One night about fifteen years ago, she saw a mysterious light outside a window. She went on the porch and a UFO sailed across the sky. That’s a first reason why I think UFOs do exist. The second reason is that
UFOs are witnessed in various countries around the world, and scattered across time. Former president James Carter said, “I have saw UFO” too. Third reason is, it is not strange if there are civilizations other than the earth. So, I believe in the existence of UFOs.

Earthquake in Haiti

In January, 2010, a big earthquake occurred in Haiti. Many people lose a house by this earthquake and suffer from food shortage. Above all, the small children suffer from a disease and are separated from a family. Furthermore, it is exposed to insanitary environment, and cholera breaks out, and a lot of children lose their life. I think that it is support of children that we should take first priority.

Grassy Narrows

Grassy Narrows are indigenous people of Canada. They live by animal hunting and adopting a nut and it a race loving nature. However, it becomes difficult for them to continue the traditional living now. A paper mill has begun to be built on their land. Therefore they had to leave the land where the cause was. They suffer from pollution by the paper mill now. I think that we understand their pains, and necessary to assist it.

Dolphins

There is a place performing dolphin fishing in Japan. Hokkaido, Aomori, Shizuoka, and so on. The quantity of fishery of the dolphin is about 1,5000 every year. However, will it be a really necessary thing? There was little food, and the people lacked protein after the war, so they get protein from dolphin’s meats. But life becomes rich, and we can get various foods now. So I think that we do not have to do dolphin fishing anymore.

My weekend

If the weekend is sunny, I like to wash my clothes and hang these out to dry. Also, if the air is moderately dry, the laundry is dry faster. Moreover I like dried laundry that smells like the sun. Second, I like to clean my room. My room is Japanese-style, so I have to sweep the room with a broom instead of a vacuum cleaner. Finally, I like to go to shopping by bicycle. A bicycle is less convenient than car, but I can see the view at a slow speed. Therefore, sometimes I take my digital camera to take pictures of surrounding views when I go shopping by bicycle.

Animal welfare

When we develop an article, the producer must guarantee safety. For example, cosmetics, medicines, soap and so on. Then, company tests it with the body of the animal to guarantee the safety. Of course, the animals will suffer from pain. What should the consumer do for them? I think, we should support the maker which does not to do animal experiment. If we do it, the companies decrease which do animal experiment.

My opinion

On August 5th, the roof of the mine caved in collapsed at Chile.
And underground workers were shut up in seven hundred meters below the ground. I was scared when I heard that accident. Because they couldn’t look at the sun is shining brightly and blue sky. So I felt quite relieved, that the lives of all the workers were saved.

Respect

“There is no success without hardship”, that word of Greek poet Sophocles. I feel exactly the same way about the word. This spring, I had a mathematics class. I am very weak in mathematics, so I feel depression before the start of class. I had review of the class hard. As a result, I can get good score that examine.

My worst day

My worst day was last autumn. That day, I had a slight fever during the night. The next morning, my temperature rose to thirty-eight degrees so I had to go to the hospital. My high-temperature made me very tired, so I couldn’t drove my motorcycle. As a result, I called my father in Kanagawa and, he came to Shizuoka and drove to the hospital. After all, the doctor diagnosed me with influenza. I had to rest quietly in bed, but I also had to study physics because a physics midterm exam was only a week off. After that, I studied hard. Luckily, I passed midterm exam but, I felt too well recently again.
